Engine-mounted secondary fuel filtration focuses on fine particle control, and the WIX Filters Fuel Filter serves that role as a cartridge element inside the fuel filter housing. This filter is positioned after the primary separator, where it addresses smaller debris that remains suspended in the fuel. The synthetic blend media is selected to retain microscopic particulate matter while allowing fuel to move through the element at the required rate. Molded end caps support the media pack and keep the element stable within the housing during operation. A replacement sealing ring is supplied to renew the housing interface when the cartridge is changed.
