WIX Filters Fuel Filter
Mack 12L E-Tech engines use the WIX Filters Fuel Filter as the primary fuel element in systems that do not require an integrated drain bowl. This spin-on filter features a 1-14 threaded base and solid bottom configuration designed for primary-stage filtration in these applications. When a fuel/water separator is required in the same system, WIX 33589 with a standard drain or WF10025 with a self-venting drain is specified instead. In its primary role, the WIX Filters 33588 fuel filter uses high-efficiency media to capture abrasive particulates while maintaining the fuel volume demanded under load. Its thick-walled canister provides the structural rigidity needed to withstand vibration and sustained heavy-duty road operation.
