This spin-on WIX Filters 33338 secondary filter is used in select IHC/Navistar, Dresser, Agco, and Komatsu diesel equipment requiring 6-micron fine filtration downstream of a primary separator. Its 1-14 threaded base mates with compatible fuel heads designed for gasket-sealed mounting. The internal media captures fine particulates that can pass through primary filtration stages without restricting required fuel volume. A reinforced steel shell protects the element in chassis-mounted or engine-mounted positions exposed to vibration and debris.
