WIX Filters Fuel Water Separator Filter

Rear-mounted fuel filtration plays a different role than engine-mounted filters, and the WIX Filters Fuel Water Separator Filter is positioned to manage contamination before fuel reaches downstream components. This cartridge-style separator is used in chassis-mounted housings, where it addresses water and coarse debris introduced from bulk fuel storage. The synthetic media is engineered with water-repelling properties that encourage separation rather than absorption as fuel passes through the element. Reinforced end caps allow the cartridge to seat firmly inside the housing so fuel is routed through the media rather than around it. By reducing the contaminant load at this stage, the WIX Filters WF10568 separator limits the amount of water and debris carried forward in the fuel supply.
