Jost Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch
The Jost Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch locks onto the trailer kingpin to connect the tractor and trailer. During coupling, the kingpin enters the hitch throat and engages the locking mechanism. Once secured, the hitch carries vertical load and allows controlled articulation between the tractor and trailer. Steering input and road movement cause the hitch to pivot while holding the connection point. Release occurs manually during uncoupling procedures. The Jost SK75013-04 operates during towing and remains inactive when uncoupled.
