Coolstar Valve Core

The Coolstar Valve Core is installed inside service ports to control refrigerant access during charging, evacuation, or pressure testing. The core opens and closes in response to tool engagement, allowing controlled refrigerant flow through the port. Once the service tool is removed, the core seals the port internally to contain system pressure. This component threads into the valve port and remains stationary during normal system operation. In refrigerant service points, the Coolstar 962-3308 enables controlled access to the sealed system.
