Jost Trailer Landing Gear Assembly
Trailer stability during uncoupling operations is managed by the Jost Trailer Landing Gear Assembly, which features a square body design and an outside-mount configuration. The 19-inch travel range allows vertical adjustment to accommodate differences in trailer height during loading or yard positioning. A 4.5 in tall 10x10 sand shoe distributes ground contact pressure while supporting the stationary trailer weight. The Double D style shaft channels crank force directly into the gearbox rather than transferring torque to the mounting bolt. Austempered ductile iron gears resist internal wear under repeated lifting cycles. The Jost A400.T.19 supports controlled trailer elevation across dock and yard operations.
