The ConMet Wheel Stud secures wheel assemblies by clamping the wheel against the hub through threaded engagement. When lug nuts are tightened, the stud transfers clamping force into the hub, holding the wheel in position during vehicle movement. This force remains constant as the wheel rotates, supporting safe operation under load. The stud is pressed into the hub during service and does not move during operation. Removal occurs only during wheel-end maintenance. The ConMet 102188 provides fastening support for wheel assemblies using serrated engagement.
