Donaldson Engine Oil Filter

The Donaldson Engine Oil Filter uses Synteq synthetic media to increase dirt-holding capacity beyond what conventional cellulose filters can manage. This 11.65-inch full-flow spin-on filter is specified for extended service intervals, capturing fine soot and wear-causing contaminants that circulate in high-output diesel engines. The synthetic fibers are thermally bonded to maintain uniform pore structure, allowing consistent oil flow as contaminant loading increases over time. A heavy-duty steel baseplate and reinforced canister keep the filter sealed and dimensionally stable when oil pressure spikes, preventing internal leakage or bypass that would allow unfiltered oil to recirculate. With the Donaldson DBL7900 Blue filter remaining properly sealed under load, it limits abrasive contamination reaching turbocharger bearings and critical rotating engine components throughout the full drain interval.
