Jost Cushion Ring Insert

The Jost Cushion Ring Insert sits between fifth wheel mounting surfaces to manage movement during coupling and articulation. As the tractor and trailer shift relative to one another, the insert absorbs motion that would otherwise transfer directly into the mounting plates. This interaction occurs continuously during turns, acceleration, and uneven road travel. The Jost SK3105-92 remains passive and responds only to mechanical movement between connected components. It does not require adjustment once positioned and remains in place throughout normal operation.
