Stemco Wheel Seal
The Stemco Wheel Seal manages lubricant retention at the wheel hub interface while the axle rotates under load. As the wheel turns, the seal controls oil flow near the hub opening to limit leakage and contamination entry. It operates continuously while the vehicle is moving and responds to rotational motion without adjustment. This seal is used on 12,000# front axle applications across multiple heavy-duty truck brands. Its placement at the hub opening allows it to interact directly with rotating components without interfering with wheel movement. Proper sealing behavior helps reduce lubricant loss and limits external debris from entering the hub cavity. The Stemco 309-0912 supports controlled hub lubrication during vehicle travel.
