Mitsubishi Diamond Gard™ Starter

The Mitsubishi Diamond Gard™ Starter initiates engine rotation, allowing combustion to begin during the starting cycle. Turning the ignition key sends electrical current to the starter motor, which engages the flywheel through the starter drive gear. The motor then rotates the engine crankshaft until the engine begins running on its own. Once the engine starts, the starter disengages from the flywheel gear. Designed for Volvo D13 applications, the Mitsubishi VV2079 delivers the torque needed to start the engine.
