Horton Engine Cooling Fan Clutch
The Horton Engine Cooling Fan Clutch regulates fan engagement based on engine temperature and cooling demand. When engine heat rises, the clutch engages to draw increased airflow through the radiator core. As temperatures stabilize, it disengages to reduce parasitic load on the engine. That on-demand engagement approach lowers fuel consumption and limits unnecessary fan noise during light-duty operation. For engines that cycle between heavy load and idle conditions, the Horton 996019 delivers temperature-responsive airflow control.
