Denso Spark Plug

The Denso Spark Plug receives ignition voltage from the ignition system and directs it into the combustion chamber. As electrical energy travels through the plug body, it moves toward the center electrode where the ignition spark forms. The ceramic insulator guides this electrical charge toward the firing point while preventing voltage loss across the outer surface. A built-in resistor helps reduce electrical interference created during ignition events. At the firing tip of the Denso L14-U, voltage crosses the electrode gap to ignite the air-fuel mixture.
