Gunite Tru-Pilot® Brake Drum

Stop safely and confidently with the Gunite Tru-Pilot® Brake Drum. This 15 x 5-inch cast iron drum uses Gunite’s Tru-Pilot design to center the drum on the wheel hub, reducing runout that can lead to vibration and brake pulsation. The cast iron material is formulated to manage the heat generated during repeated braking events without distortion. Factory balancing allows the drum to be installed as received, avoiding additional machining before service. The braking surface is machined to provide proper contact with new brake shoes during initial use. This Gunite 3753X drum is commonly used on steer axles and medium-duty applications where consistent braking feel is required.
