Meritor Universal Joint
The Meritor Universal Joint transfers rotational torque between connected driveline shafts while accommodating angular movement. As the driveshaft turns, the cross assembly allows pivoting motion that compensates for suspension travel and axle articulation. Built with RPL premium sealing technology, the joint is structured to guard internal components from contaminants that could affect rotational performance. Nylon thrust washers reduce direct metal contact within the assembly, supporting controlled pivot movement. Triple-lip seals add layered protection around bearing caps, while the improved retention system stabilizes cup positioning. The Meritor M676X is structured for high-torque articulation across demanding driveline applications.
