Putting high engine torque to the ground requires the grip of the Eaton Clutch Flywheel Assembly. This 14-inch stamped angle spring clutch uses a dual-plate design with ceramic button friction material suited for the heat and friction generated during heavy-haul starts. The stamped steel cover provides consistent plate load without the added weight of a cast unit, helping keep pedal effort manageable for the driver. Internal dampening springs absorb torsional vibration from the engine, smoothing power transfer to the transmission and reducing shock at the input shaft. A manual adjustment mechanism allows clutch free play to be maintained as the friction material wears over time. The Eaton 107237-10 assembly provides a firm, consistent connection between the engine and transmission in demanding applications.
