Meritor Drive Axle Wheel Oil Seal
The Meritor Drive Axle Wheel Oil Seal is pressed into the wheel end assembly to create a barrier between internal lubricant and the external environment. As the axle rotates, the sealing surface maintains contact with the shaft, containing lubricant while blocking outside intrusion. This sealing action continues throughout vehicle operation, adapting to temperature changes and rotational speed. During axle service, the seal is replaced to restore isolation between internal and external conditions. Designed for heavy-duty wheel ends, the Meritor A11205A2731 functions as a protective interface.
