WABCO ABS Solenoid Modulator Valve
Skid control during hard braking depends on accurate air pressure changes at the brake chambers, which is handled by the WABCO ABS Solenoid Modulator Valve. This 12-volt solenoid valve installs directly into the ABS air circuit and responds to commands from the ECU when wheel speed differences are detected. By opening and closing rapidly, the valve adjusts air pressure at the chamber to prevent wheel lockup while braking force is applied. Because the WABCO 4721960510 valve is mounted on the chassis, the housing is built from corrosion-resistant materials to withstand road spray and deicing chemicals. A factory-style bayonet electrical connector allows it to plug into the existing harness without wiring modification. Air line ports match the original routing, allowing the valve to be replaced without altering brake plumbing.
