WABCO ABS Modulator Valve
The WABCO ABS Modulator Valve controls brake pressure during anti-lock braking events by regulating air delivery to each wheel circuit. When wheel slip is detected, the valve rapidly adjusts pressure to prevent lockup while maintaining braking force. This modulation happens in quick cycles as vehicle speed changes, helping maintain directional control. Electrical input triggers internal valve movement, while air pressure flows through designated ports. Rated for 12 V operation and capable of managing up to 11.0 bar, the WABCO 4725002250 manages brake pressure variation during ABS activation.
