Fleetguard Engine Oil Filter
Perkins and Massey Ferguson diesel engines circulate oil through a full-flow spin-on filter, and the Fleetguard Engine Oil Filter is sized and built for those lubrication systems. Inside the canister, multi-layer filtration media retains sludge and fine particulates while allowing oil to circulate steadily at varying engine speeds. Because these engines are commonly used in agricultural and industrial equipment with limited clearance, the Fleetguard LF701 filter’s compact dimensions support installation without interfering with surrounding components. In those environments, constant vibration and mechanical loading are common, so the shell is formed from heavy-gauge steel to maintain its shape and sealing surface. A 3/4-16 UNF threaded base secures the filter firmly to the block, keeping oil pressure stable throughout the service interval rather than fluctuating as debris accumulates.
